Jag F-Type: Wheel expert please chime in
So I'm in love with F type. I see this as my ultimate fun car for me. It's looks classy and have distinct sound and fast enough for me. I find other exotic super cars little too flashy and I find this jag a perfect combination within budget.
But I noticed that they have very sad looking narrow wheels on the back somehow. I would like to keep things looking very classy with at least 280-300 width on the back and no my budget doesn't allow for their biggest wheel option with ceramic brakes. Does have any have any good recommendation under $3k? |

Don't count on it. There are more tools in the Jag / Land Rover forums than in a Snap-On truck.

Which F-Type are you talking about specifically?
The S with the 18'' and 19'' come with 275 on the rear (I'm assuming you saw one of those). The F-type R comes with 20'' with 295. If you want to keep things classy, but don't want to go over $3,000, I'd probably go with Jag's 20'' wheels that they make for the F-Type R. Their 5-Spokes really complement the car, and look great. |

The "Gyrodine" Dark Grey Diamond Turned wheel was a non-negotiable for me when locating my Type R. I like their "Blade" wheel with carbon fiber inserts as well, but not the fact that they have a silver lip. And I find the 295 rears fit the car well, although folks are pushing the stock wheels to 305+

click on the wrong thread, sorry.
Either way, the Red F-type is looking great. Tire widths look sweet. Last edited by PopsnBurbles; 04-26-2016 at 01:04 PM.. |

I love those wheels you guys have, but they are only specific to R model which is out of my budget. On V6s, they only offer thin stock wheels unfortunately.

mine is a 16, base as they come. Manual with one option, white paint. 275 in the rear. If you can find a 16 they have more options standard, and discounts are really good, got mine for almost 10k off sticker. I have had a lot of cars, bought this one on a whim, it is one of my all time favorite street cars.

Yeah... I'd have to change those like immediately! But then again... I NEVER keep stock wheels on my cars. Honestly, for the price point if you don't want to splurge on forged or multi-piece wheels, I would take a good look at TSW. They have been making wheels for @ 3 decades and their current lineup is very nice and reasonable $$. Good Luck!

Yes it looks great, but doesn't it only comes with $14k ceramic brake option?
