Retarded comment.^ The thing is actually not half bad for the price.

So you're judging a sports sedan based off of its fuel efficiency?

Jesus, that was my personal opinion. I'm not looking for a fight, I was just expressing what I thought. You think it's not bad for the price, etc. then good for you all. Go trade your car in for one...

It is impressive, with those numbers, but it is funny how BMW can produce equal results with half the displacement and 25% better fuel economy.

Sorry, I'm not trying to start a fight and didn't mean to come across as offended/offensive, I just don't like it when people dismiss other makes as "gas guzzling POSs" when in truth (or opinion in this case I'll say), it's not.

right because ford and hyundia are so busy building 4-door sedans that run low 13 1/4's....

So true, I do love the great american muscle car, don't get me wrong, I just wish GM would bring back the GTO, the REAL GTO, or maybe even do a retro version, but make it big and floaty, and comfortable, yet, would lurch off the line and have a mad exhaust.

To me, it's not all about raw horsepower and straightline numbers. I'm sure there are numerous cars that can beat a 335. However, where BMW's in general shine is how they are engineered to balance power and handling with finesse. It's all in the engineering and what makes a BMW a BMW.
On an interesting side note, at the NY International Auto Show, they had a few G8's on the floor, and when I was checking it out (mid afternoon) there were hardly any people looking at them. On the other hand, when I went over to the BMW area, the place was mobbed. It's funny, every time I go to an auto show and walk into the BMW section, I feel like I'm on a pilgrimage home. I think I have a problem.
