Aston Martin Prototype Vehicle
Hi all,
While driving north bound on the M6 today, I spotted "something" in the second lane a little way in front of us, and pointed it out to the wife. I was sure it was an Aston Martin, but wasn't sure until we got closer. Then spotted the words "prototype vehicle" on the rear bumper! From what I can gather, it's the DB11, but I thought they were already done and released...? Now the car appeared to be US spec (number plate sizes and the rear repeaters showed as red instead of the usual amber/yellow), so not sure if it's anything to do with that spec. You can see some material on the C Pillar, so I wondered if it was a Volante test vehicle, but the rear screen seems a solid rear screen. Anyway, it was pretty cool to see in the flesh. Extremely jealous of the young bloke who was driving it too! |

Looking into it a bit more, those things on the C pillars are actually part of the design, and not camouflage or anything like that. So, looks like this is the finished product.

I don't want to sound like a dick but that looks like an all black DB11. What's making you think it's not, aside from the sticker?
