Good photos. Is that all with just a 300 mm lens?
I am surprised you never been to the SD zoo before, hahah! Unless, of course, you are a new SD resident.

Nice pics, I've been wanting to go to the zoo near here so bad! The last time I went to a zoo was euther the Bronx Zoo or Central Park Zoo and that was years ago.

Ryan the pics came out SOOO good! The animals look sad though huh? LoL..
But i cant get over how sleek that leopard and black panther were. Man, that was the best. The animals were actually very photogenic to us. Normally, they are always hiding behind the rocks or bushes, but this time they were all out in the open. Very cool! The brown bear totally posed for us on that rock. Hahah gotta love the giraffe, esp when the little guy almost ate shit.. Poor thing! Hahah..

I've taken my kids to almost every zoo in southern cal.....
and I personally think that the SD Wild Animal Park is the best..... SD Zoo.......too much uphill/downhill walking......
