Pre Paid Legal?
To make a long story short a friend of mine finally got me to go to one of these seminars or meetings tonight. For those of you who know what pre paid legal is and offers I would just like to get your oppinion and thoughts on the company. I like what they offer, it seems like it would be very helpfull to middle income family's who cant afford expensive legal fee's.

Those services can vary significantly. It really depends on exactly what they are offering and what it costs. The fine print is what really matters.
The company itself doesn't seem like a bad company. They have about a $500 million dollar market cap, and they have positive earnings. They are only trading at around 15 times earnings, which means their business must not be growing that fast.

Sounds like an HMO in the legal world. Shitty services compared to what you would get if you were to hire a lawyer from outside this network. What kind of lawyer would want to be part of this network, anyways?
Oh, I know - those who aren't working in renown firms or are in desperate need of clients. Or those lawyers who simply suck and can't get any clients.

Funny you say HMO. Magazines say this could be the next big boom like HMO' were.
Any members in europe have some sort of prepaid legal plan? Are they common out there? Just trying to get some facts before hand. |

I understand its a word of mouth thing (so its considered a pyramid) I just want to find out if what they say about europe is true. I havent signed up to the company yet because I just dont want to take the time. I have other stuff going on. But at the same time I like to invest my money in the stock market. Timing is key hands down. I want in on this if its the US thats next with this type of stuff. You can knock it, but the service seems legit. I just want some facts from people who have delt with it or are involved.

My brother and his friends do Pre Paid Legal. For the most part it is a pyramid scheme. I told my brother over and over not to waste his time with a pyramid scheme. His response was "So what? I make hundreds of dollars a month on top of my regular job and I'm not harming anybody doing it." He made a good point and he makes more money than I do |
