I gave up a 2000 cavalier for the new E90. Ha ha ha, but it was a good little car while I was going through college. The new E90 is really a step up, though

I hear yah buddy, giving up a 2002 Focus SE in ugly ass Lime Green. I'm more than doubling my horsepower . But it was a great little car to get me from college to my parents house and i sure will miss the great gas mileage.

You know, I've noticed the E90 gets really good gas mileage. And even though gas prices are soaring again, I didn't really think it cost that much more to fill the tank. Here in PA, it used to take about $23-25 to fill the tank of the cavalier, but I've found the BMW costs only about $28.00, and there's a bigger tank on the E90. Yet the gas mileage still seems to be pretty good. Although, the Ford Focus is supposed to be one of the best as far as fuel economy goes, so I'd think you'd notice a whole heck of a lot more difference than I would. One thing I did notice, though, is when I'm on the interstate, the guage sometimes goes past 50 m.p.g. I wonder if that is accurate. That's pretty cool if it is :rocks:

I don't miss my 545 at all. The 330 with manual is just more fun to DRIVE. (I had the 545 steptronic) I don't really need the extra size.
