Kirk vs. Picard
Dammit I've had it!!
There are heretics within these sacred halls that have the unmitigated gall to believe that Picard can even begin to hold a candle to our beloved Captain James T. Kirk. While both are accomplished, Kirk is easily the winner. I won't go into details. If Captain Blood and I can agree on this, everyone can see the obvious answer. Vote. Don't screw this up.

Got to go with Kirk. Whenever I see Picard, I think of Scrooge from A Christmas Carol.
He was great in that.

It’s hard to beat Kirk since he is the original. Kirk is more daring and more of a risk taker. Picard is a bit more cerebral but also ballsy when pushed. I like them both but didn’t want to like Picard in the beginning.

I will add that I think Chris Pine was a worthy successor to Shatner in the new movies.
Just like Craig was to Connery. It was those guys that brought me back to the franchise's.

Spock was half human and chose to repress that side of him while Data was all machine, all logic and overtly wished he was human with a touch of emotion. Yeah, Kirk would have stationed him in engineering where Scotty would have taken him apart...

Kirk would have talked Mr. Data to death, just like he did to countless other computers.
More importantly, Kirk faced off with GOD/SATAN in one movie...and wasn't impressed or intimidated.....
