Black looks the best, the more I see the grille, the more I dislike it, I was expecting the exact opposite by now. The white G80 grille is a lot to take in. I drove bye a G20 tonight in white and it looks great, IMO.

Purple definitely looks interesting.

I never liked black ///M cars but I must admit black is one of my favorite colors on the G80 thus far.

I think the grey orbit wheels are the way to go for almost any color.

By the way the same person on instagram posted a video cruising at 190km/h (3000rpm) in a G80 M3 on the autobahn

It appears he has access to all these cars so I'm surprised he only posted this poor video

The Toronto Red isn't horrible. That's my likely option after they deny the Fire Orange Individual I submitted 2 weeks ago lol.

Why did they decline it ?
It's funny because other members have been able to order it in Fire Orange

They didn't officially decline it yet. A member in Belgium had it approved. I've been told by internal sources it's too early to do an Individual Color in the USA.

Personally thinking of opting for a lighter color like silver to show the aggressive lines. Beautiful colors, but Silver/Grey takes the cake for me as of right now

Very true! I think Black is the most life-less and boring color for a sports car. Sure maybe an SUV or truck to slim it down a little...but hey, just an opinion !

You might have already done some version of this... I was thinking in this age of social, you might want to do some LinkedIn creeping and see if you can connect with someone in BMWNA marketing. If you share your saga on the forums, enthusiasm for the car, that you have a real order, along with an offer to let them take a few official photos when the car comes in? M in particular has strongly been pushing individual colors the last few years. Look at how many events and public demos have them. (maybe also they will take a hint on how public a denial will be within their enthusiast community)

I have someone...they CAN help...however, I am dealing with a sales manager who won't even tell me the name of the guy he emailed the build to, so that my internal guy can walk it through the system.

Unfortunately, the art of salesmanship goes out the window when you have a very early and highly-sought-after G80 allocation. I am speaking to the owner of the dealership, who a mutual friend put me in touch with, to rectify this.

Looks like Purple Silk to me? A little bright to be Daytona or Techno Violet.

I agree, was hoping it would grow on me. The grille is trash to me, change for the sake of change I don't get it. Rest of the car is beautiful, g20 is beautiful. Alpina b3 g20 over g80 easy for me.
