The Land Cruiser has so many loyal fans that this model will sell and sell well.

I am glad Toyota hasn't yet abandoned this automotive classic.

Bestcarweb renderings from 11/19 claiming it's the final design.

Like it...hints of the legacy boxy design which I prefer over the design of last couple gens.

Still rollin in a 2007...absolutely bulletproof. Will be a reliable armored tank for soon to be 16 yr. old.

Thanks for sharing...good read. Be well. B.

Alright! Yes! Always loved Land Cruisers, but wasn't a big fan of their design direction the past decade or so. I see a lot of the FJ60 here. Awesome.

My winter drive is a FJ60 and I completely agree. Might be a replacement for the little lady's Sequoia.

Nice. I'm a *huge* fan of the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60s, Nissan Patrol Y60s and Land Rover Defenders. I think these are timeless and rugged designs, before they started emasculating them with these new-age cutsie, rounded blob-like shapes. Just my opinion

Looks like the interior was designed in 2009.

That's a Toyota feature! You don't buy Toyota's for interior or technology.

Disregard post #12. I believe that was the current model with aftermarket parts.

Supposedly this is the real deal. It also matches Bestcar's rendering.

Yep. You buy them for proven old technology at today's new vehicle pricing. Can't argue with the results as it's served them well.

Also can't argue about the longevity of their products. My 34 year old FJ60 is living proof. It gets left outside and ignored for 6 straight months, unlock door, pull choke, pump gas 3x and it starts up EVERY time. It never gets old or loses its luster. And can't begin to describe how many people, of every category, stop me to talk about it. It's truly a vehicle I will NEVER part with.
