Sounds like old times. Good to see these events coming around again.

Isringhausen in Springfield used to host an annual Breast Cancer awareness day (Susan Komen, I think) where you could test drive virtually any BMW. They were all dedicated event cars, probably because they took a beating. I went with my boss once and he scared the crap out of me hitting triple digit speeds in an M3 in traffic on public roads. After that I went back to going by myself. Still, it was a good time with loads of eye candy and some good food.

There’s plenty of parking spots. We moved all our new/used car inventory outback. The only cars up front are mustangs and F-150s.

Yup, you can bring any car, truck motorcycle, etc. What’re you planning on bringing in?

If you’re driving the M3, that’s going to be an eye catcher for sure

Very funny and very true. A few years ago at the Lake Forest Sportscars Concours d'Elegance, there was only one crash. It was some cheaply body molding modified Mustang driver. The Lake Forest Sportscars Concours d'Elegance is like none other in the country. Numerous LaFerrari's, a Koenigsegg 1-1, a Ferrari Sergio (almost no one even knows it exists), Pagani, Lamborghini, and other one of a kind cars and rare cars all in the same place at the same time. It is an incredibly high end show of cars, like Monterey. The only idiot who tried to show off was the Mustang driver with his pathetic $10,000 Guido Mustang. He almost ran over some people while he crashed into a tree.

Too bad it's raining today. I will see if the weather clears.

Maybe I’m old/slow to understand but can someone please explain why it seems that every mustang that accelerates on straight/dry pavement ends up off the road?

A V8 in a shopping cart bought by someone that thinks it's a sports car.
