Where to buy parts/project cars?
Thinking of getting some parts car for my non-Bmw project. Where do you guys and gals usually get those? You can obviously luck out and find something locally on fb or cl for sale but that doesn’t always happen. Was thinking about copart but heard too many horror stories plus it seems like the entire world is bidding there jacking the prices up. Any other auctions for wrecked cars where I might have better luck/prices?

Might be worth just going to a local
Junk yard. Shipping on that stuff would be insane. But copart and the other one I mentioned is the only one that comes to mind.

I kind of already got the “host” for the swap, but might need a donor. I guess my question is what auctions people like to use to get the wrecked cars for parts besides the copart

Parts Geek and Rock Auto have alot of the basic items for most make / models. Brakes, suspension ect....
For more unique model specific items, you will have to find a specialist website for your specific make model. |
