Has the Economic Crisis affected your mods?
Hey guys, I was just driving today wondering if the economic crisis has prevented anyone besides from me in getting the mods I want for my car.

Yes... given the ways things have gone, I've definitely put some mods on hold.

I put off a Veyron, slumming it in an M3 for now.
![]() I think we need to see lower prices for mods, haven't seen much discounting yet, like we're seeing in the rest of retail. Christmas is going to be a fire sale this year. Come on vendors, want to move some stuff before we're everyone's disposable income is tapped out? ![]() |

I've noticed alot of people arent buying parts like they were last year. Everything is being affected, not just mods. Ask any vendor on the forum and I bet they arent doing as well as last year aroudn this time.
I agree we need lower prices, the vendors on this forum tend to overprice their goods. Reason I know is b/c I first price items on this forum in hopes of supporting our forum sponsors....yet the prices I get elsewhere usually tend to be cheaper....go figure |

Been trying to buy a damn CSL Trunk for the longest time. I still don't see it coming for another 2-3 months.

Sort of...... got rid of some too flashy items on the car and try to keep it more tamed and plain Jane.

Yes. I can't sell old parts like I used to.
So now when I mod...I end up accumulating a bunch of parts that I no longer use. Before, I could take into account some money that I could recover in time by selling off old parts. Made the new parts seem less $$$.
