[1999 323ci convertible] What to do with my project car & what order to replace stuff
I have a 1999 323ci that is my project car and I want to eventually (maybe 10 or so years) make into a bad ass car.
i am in love with this build watching this as a kid is what made love the e36 Mine is a convertible and want to see what amazing builds you guys have seen or for some advice. Id like to eventually redo the entire car and make it either SEMA ready or rally ready has anyone completed an e36 build? what order should i replace items with the "final" show ready items? any advice on saving money by not making mistakes down the road to completion? any and all advice / help welcome! thank you guys |

so my personal opinion, but those builds are absolutely awful. As far as what to do with your e36, I'm assuming little maintenance has been done, so you should expect to refresh all the plastic in the cooling system. I would assume you have some oil leaks and will need a new valve cover and gasket. Shocks and suspension bushings are probably shot. The plastic rear window might need replacing
E36s are a ton of fun and can be great cars with a little love. |

What comments are you looking for specifically? If you want to build an E36, do what everyone else does; scour the internet for information and build the car you want to build. The E36 is 30 years old now, there is more than enough info out there for you. Google is your friend. Good luck with your project.

thanks for the comments.
I want to build it into a show car not just restore it. I like the body kit on the first video and the paint is pretty good. just seeing if anyone has an all around best strut, rims, ect to see what i can do to make it looks clean |
