New Car: When to accept delivery

When I ordered my car I was told verbally end of March, maybe April. My documentation says Estimated Delivery 01/05/22.

If the car comes early, am I obliged to take it early? I'm funding the car myself and it doesn't suit me to pay any earlier.

In fact, to that end, what would be the latest I could pay do you think?

Similar thing happened on my F23. Basically, you have 2 choices. Accept it or reject it. If the latter, you would have to place another order and proceed on a wait. The only caveat in rejecting is if the car is missing ordered items. You can then get your deposit back.

My advice, be ready for the call.
