if you have too much time on your hands, do something OTHER than gambling that will sound like fun, exciting and keep your mind of gambling, i don't have any kind of problem like that but thats just a suggestion, well for example me and my friend are in high school (not much to do as usual ) and we like to work on his car, just chill at coffee bean or just cruise around in a car, go to friends house and so on.

good luck

i used to gamble online and sports bet a lot, but i'm a terrible gambler because i never know when to just quit. for me, i just got sick of blowing money out the window with no return. i was able to just quit and walk away. i limit my gambling to trips to vegas or new orleans though, and i've started to bring set amounts of cash with me so i don't overspend. it's tough to walk away from it though, the promise of striking it rich easily is a very attractive variable, but will easily cloud your judgment if you let it.

Erm. I too have a gambling problem, but I can support myself financially so I don't find a problem with it.

Make sure you are doing it for fun, otherwise why do it?

Know your limits, respect your bankroll, live life without regret.

That's the only advice I have, as shitty as it may seem.

No matter what advice you get, you will still be who you want to be.

I go to Vegas every 4 months or so, set aside what I can afford to lose (aka not money that I need/savings/rent/car/life).

I don't see a problem with spending your "extra" money the way you see fit. I could have traveled around the world multiple times by now, I'd rather go to Vegas and have fun the way I like to have it.

Online, I would stay away from it, there is not ambiance or nostalgia associated with it.

If you really need to talk to someone who understands you, shoot me a PM, I won't blow smoke up your ass when it comes to this.

I wish i can quit and walk away. Last time it lasted 2 weeks before i started to go in the casino again, and i got MORE addicted to make up for that 2 weeks that i spent without it.

gambling is useless. The easier you get the money the easier it will go.

Just try to put in your mind that you are NOT going to win. Then you will realize that its a waste of your money. I know that some people are just addicted to the rush that you get from gambling more so than actually winning money so try to find a hobby that will give you that without wasting so much cash. Start tracking your car, go skydiving, buy a motorcycle, play paintball, go out with friends, shoot a gun... anything is better than pissing cash away from gambling.

Just be careful dude; if not it wil take over your life and you could love everything - your work, life, friends, gf, etc, etc....get a hobby if you cannot get a gf...surf the internet for a gf or something...or surf the internet for porn... better than gambling....easy on the pocket with your dick

Im actually a suicide counselor and work with many addicts of different sorts. The last thing anybody needs is a hundred replies all saying go get help.
