Home Air Freshner
What do you use to make your house awesome?
I have clients over often - I'm happy with fabreeze products to be honest. My wife is very picky, but she lacks any solutions. We've got 2 boys, a cat and a dog and I don't want the house to smell like "us." So basically standard store bought products are off the table. I don't think candles work unless they are lit, and I'm not lighting candles everyday, unless that's the only solution. We do have our house professionally cleaned each week. Thanks! |

The fiberglass smell of my boat is about as intoxicating of a smell as it gets for me… @aktif8 Just bought $60 worth of wax warmers - thanks for that great suggestion! |

I have a lemon candle fixation. We used to use those glade plug in things until my wife saw a house burnt to a crisp on the news.
With 3 cats and a dog we couldn’t take a chance |

Our kids are grown and we no longer have dogs or cats. Other than scented candles in the bathrooms, we just keep the house clean. The house may smell like us but we don't know it!
Not personally a fan of odor-hiding products, but maybe I'm just sensitive to the smell. The pump-in fragrances at the Las Vegas casinos give me a headache. |

are all the Fabreeze scented ?
Was in a friends home yesterday and I think they were using an odor eliminator with a scent. And maybe an odor eliminator in their vehicle which I was also in. When I left the home I thought I could smell the scent on me and even in my taste. I think I"d rather smell odors than a scented candle or spray. But I'm a bit nuts, cause I absolutely hate music playing in a store or business, irritates me. |

The Venetian is where I got a huge headache from the fragrance. Even when we went to our room to get away from it, I still couldn't deal with it. My wife was fine with it. It's just me! The Wynn or the Bellagio are fine for me.

That likely wasn't the fragrance - it was the fact they were pumping oxygen into the casino / hotel. I've had adverse reactions many times in Vegas and that's part of the reason why we don't go anymore...

I just checked The Google. It seems to be a myth, while pumping fragrance is an actual thing. I don't do myths. |

I'm catering to my clients who are over all the time - I just want to be sure the house smells nice - ideally generic - but not like food or kids or kitty litter. :

Hands down Lampe Berger.
Within minutes your air is smelling fresh and clean with your favorite scent. They've been around since 1898, I am surprised everybody in the world doesn't know about them.

I'm not bright enough to follow your logic, so I'll just remain dumber than you and retain the position that the casinos do not pump oxygen (fire hazard, cost constraints, impossibility of making enough much oxygen to make a difference, no evidence that its happening). You sort of had me with the clock reference, but then I realized that one has nothing whatsoever to do with the other. |
