It's good to know there are cops out there that know what they are doing.

I got a ticket going around slow moving left lane traffic a couple months back, also happens to be the same week I had a 335xi loaner. Picture a 5 lane highway, conditions dry, sunny and light traffic at best. Lane 5(fast lane) had a guy going around 61 in a 60. Lane 4 had a another guy basically pacing the other guy in lane 5. So I get into lane 3 pass them both doing around 65-70. Once I had a safe distance in front of them and no cars in front of me I tap the left blinker for the convenient 3 blink lane change while simultaneously stepping on the gas and speed up to 75-80mph and cut back over to lane 5 and continue on my merry way.

Well a minute later I have a motorcycle traffic cop on my rear pulling me over. He states he got me speeding doing 78 in a 60(true), unsafe lane change for jumping a lane with no blinker(untrue), which when I tried to talk to him about that and demonstrate the BMW blinker system he immediately cut me of with "ARE YOU CALLING ME STUPID SON!". Oh but he was so nice to let me off the passing on the right(because of the slow MFers sitting in the 2 high lanes barely doing the speed limit). I ended up fighting the ticket, Cop never showed and the case was dismissed.

Ok *slips into flame suit* maybe they are not all illegal, but they all need to learn how to drive. The other times I have noticed this is Soccer moms / little shithead fathers who got picked on alot when they were growing up trying to play traffic cop (they see you coming in fast lane and get over just to slow you down... then the guy in the slow lane will start going faster than this person so you get behind them to hopefully pass said asshole and then the otehr guy speeds up again.

Did you get pulled over on 90 or 480? Those highways are the worst with motorcycle cops.

I think you have to be the luckiest person alive to get out of that ticket. I just got another ticket. I think im going to get a lawyer and fight it.

Back on topic! Yesterday it was raining and this dumb woman would not GTFO of the left lane. I had to drive behind her the whole 20 miles i was on the highway. Some people are just retarded, if you see some one on your ass why dont you move over because just maybe they want to pass you. People in Cleveland forget how to drive once it starts raining or snowing. If you want to see the largest gathering of idiots, take a picture of the highways in Cleveland during rush hour.

I was on 90. You got some bad luck with tickets bro. I think you need to invest in a radar detector or start paying more attention to the road ahead. I can typically spot cops taking speeds from a half mile away or more depending on visibility.

Anyways it is true about Cleveland drivers. Everyone else thinks it's bad, but Cleveland takes the win hands down. I can't count the amount of times I've seen someone get on the highway and proceed to move over to the fast lane and then just drive there for as long as they have to go on the highway, never changing lanes. It's seriously the lane for incredibly stupid lazy drivers. You want to get anywhere you're better off driving in the slow lanes. Oh if it rains, HOLY SHIT! You would think everyone was a first time driver. 5-10mph UNDER the limit, hesitant, don't know where there going, afraid to change lanes. ALL HELL GOES LOOSE if it snows, take the rain scenario and times that by 10! You would think Americas Funniest Home Videos is taping you in your car to get your reactions to the mental shits everyone on the road is taking because it's raining

I know man, Im going to invest in a V1. The thing that sucks is i got pulled over on a road that i have never seen a cop on for the 7 years ive traveled it. Of course it was at night so I couldnt see shit. I always get pulled over in the city driving, never on the highway.

You nailed everything about Cleveland drivers. I swear when I drive my E60 im always in the slow lane passing everyone in the fast lane.

I got my car from and serviced at Ganley BMW on Pearl Rd. Their awesome. Ask from Jim Strunk when you get your car serviced. Tell him Garrett sent you that you met on e90post. He's really cool, mod friendly and tracks at Nelson Ledges as well. If you're flexible with him on the date you can be serviced he'll surely give you a loaner(as long as you still have a active warranty, of course). They only give BMW loaners, period. All makes except ///M's and 7's. I had a X6 35i last time, pretty sweet car! I've dealt with him enough that I basically request what kind of loaner I'd like and he does his best. Don't try that your first time, you ruin my hookup I'll have to hurt you

Anyways keep me updated on Nelson Ledges. If I have the time and the day is right I'll def. come.
