Stereo Randomly turns itsself down.
So,
I am cruising down the interstate, windows down, with the stereo cranked, shamelessly rocking out to my favorite tunes, when all of a sudden, the stereo turns itself down to about halfway. I turn it back up and a few mins later, it does it again....went on for the whole trip. Does anyone have this issue?

Are you dancing in your seat when listening? If so, it might be your hand gesture thing thinking you want the volume lower? Maybe disable it and see?

While I WAS dancing a jig in the seat, the hand gestures are off, to my knowledge, so I am not sure what that is. Note, this only started happening after I did a SOFTWARE update on the car, AND only when I play the stereo at FULL VOLUME. If I turn it down one or two notches, it is all fine. I was curious if playing at full blast for an extended time might trigger something? Maybe the current overheats a fuse or something? Just an idea.

Full volume like max volume? 100% full? If so, its probably lowering it to save your speakers from clipping.

Thanks All, I am guessing it is an AMP Safety deal or something......
Or my singing was so sensational that the car wanted to hear more of it.

No. I did try the bavsound ghost subs for a day. I took them right out. They where louder overall. But at mid to low volume I found them to be much quieter. And I didnt want to play my stereo louder to get louder overall. I also found there bass hit to be punchy and tight. OEM subs roll the bass better IMO.
