Apple iOS 16.4.1 Battery Issues
Does anyone have absolutely terrible battery life on their iphone after the 16.4 update?
I have a 13 Pro and wow is it far worse than before... no idea what happened.

My iPhone X's battery went dead in a few hours after the 16.4 update ran, but has since been back to normal. Some iOS updates require a major rearranging or cleanup of the flash RAM when they first install, which can chew up battery power until it completes.
FWIW, 16.4.1(a) has installed on both of my iPhones with no visible hits on battery life.....

Yes I was at the Genius Bar Friday.
They said until my battery is at 80 percent nothing they cs. Do. And it no longer last a day. They are pushing the 14 pro max. |

16.4.1 on my 12 with no issues, but I do a hard reset every few days because it seems to get tangled up internally, especially the cellular connection if I move between cells or fly a lot.
Same on the iPad (Pro 4th gen). Some apps seem to tie it up and performance always improves after a hard reset. Both devices are 2020 so should be good for several more years. hahaha. |

Batteries on my phones do seem to be dying faster. Haven’t noticed as much on my iPad. My wife has really noticed on her phone but keeps hers in a case and I suspect it draws more power for a signal in the case. |
