RIP Pee Wee Hermen - Paul Reubens dead at 70
I used to watch him with our kids. He had an interesting career, and kept his cancer secret. I know he had some challenges but who hasn't. RIP.

My ex-wife and I watched his Playhouse show, even before we had kids (and his troubles).
Laurence Fishburne was Cowboy Curtis Phil Hartman was Captain Carl, was one of the writers on the show and the Big Adventure movie. Can not hear the song Tequila without thinking of the movie. |

As a preteen boy, I loved watching Pee Wee's Playhouse even if I didn't get all of the jokes. His movies were fun and will live a long life, he will be missed. I saw Phil Rosenthal's IG post this morning and imagine that those two had a lot of fun together.

His father flew for Britain's Royal Air Force and for the U.S. Army Air Forces in World War II, and later became one of the founding pilots of the Israeli Air Force during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War.
