Looks like the 1 may have some competition.
http://www.autospies.com/news/Merced...preview-17646/
http://4wheelsblog.com/previews/mercedes-benz-blk I wonder if Mercedes will take the normal approach and underpower this car and then offer the right amount of power in a much more expensive version...

Dang... Looks like the ugly forest got dropped on it. I see it as competition with the 1er only if BMW replaced the grill with a baboon's butt.

Ummm,
I thought Dalmier and Chrysler split up... That thing looks very Americanized... Think I'll stick with the lines of the 1... They kind of reminded me of a these lines...

Don't get me wrong, if everything works out there will be a 1 in the garage.
Its just the more and more I looked at the lines, I thought, I've seen that before! Kutch

Actually the initial pictures I posted from the front look decent IMO, but I recently saw full length photos of the car and it was absolutely hideous. I will try and find a link.

MB should ax the FWD A + B class and do a RWD compact car like BMW has done w/ the 1er. Otherwise they're going to continue to drive down their brand equity having those models in their line up and lose growth potential here in the U.S.
