Side mirror seeing double

My driver side mirror sees double. In normal daylight it’s only noticeable with strong focused LEDs (below), but at night it can be downright dangerous.

Anyone experienced this? It took me a few weeks to notice after buying my E92 (used), but it’s been this way since. Fairly sure its an original mirror since the heating and auto-tint features work.

Just seeking experience. Never noticed this on another vehicle. Passenger mirror normal.

When they start to delaminate you see the image reflected from the glass surface itself as well as the delaminating spot. = double image

Thank you both. I realize i didn’t post this in the e90 forums but does anyone know whether the electrical connectors are the same for heated + self tint vs. Heated only?
