misfire or sudden gear change
I’m having a problem when I’m at high rpm and I gear change, it almost feels like I’m slipping for a second. I am F.B.O and stage 2+. I havnt gapped the spark plugs so I tuned it down to stage 1+ and still happens but not as much. Brand new spark plugs and coils. Still wondering if it’s the spark plugs and would a misfire cause it to change gear weird at high rpm?

A more transitory misfire condition can have the CEL flashing and the CEL might not remain on after the misfires have stopped. I have encountered -- 2nd hand -- issues arising from the wrong plugs being used in engines. Just because a plug compatibility chart shows Plug X is the same as a factory plug is no guarantee this is truly the case. You should first confirm the gaps are correct before installing new plugs. Instead of misfires are you perhaps inadvertently/unknowingly hitting the rev limiter? |

I wouldn’t think it’s the plugs and I havnt had a misfire code while on stage 1+ but still jerkyness on high rpm in high gears. In stage 2+ I was getting misfire code on cylinder one but sometimes went away and sometimes I had to clear it.

It’s also a very weird gear change but don’t know how to explain it
