Can’t wait to build hypothetical orders while we wait forever for the configurator!

What dealer in the Bay Area are you going to? I'm thinking about the dealerships in the Sacramento region.

Why hypothetical? US ordering & pricing guides are available (thanks to calbears), so you already have all the info needed to place a real order. https://g45.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=2114627

Hard to visualize

Even from the old days of ordering an e46- a visualizer with the options and price helps the kind decide.

A cool trick all the makes do to “build” cars. Jeep offers it but doesn’t really allow custom builds like you might think on the Wrangler.

BMW still really let’s you ditch options. I’ll never forget- I built a car without heated seats and no moon roof. I regretted the moon roof. So I reordered.

Stuff like that is cool. I wish I had that 3 series without the moon roof which was 5 speed manual! Unicorn!

I still go back to this video where the BMW guy says the wheels are getting larger and it’s up to 22 inches. Many of the videos from testing showcase these set of wheels that’s not found in the configurator. I’m still holding out hope that these appear in the US version because they look so much better than the rest. I’m sure the UK configurator and others are very similar to what the US will be getting. I just need to see it to make it real.

Not an endorsement nor a claim that I know much... but Peter Pan BMW has taken good care of me and will always earn my business among our local dealers.

I have never seen that not be the case. The configurator will often only update to the new model year a month or so into it. A big factor is the existing dealer inventory that needs to be sold. Lately with lower inventories it has been update closer to the beginning of the MY.

@K20C4, did they give you a good discount? I bought my Toyota Sienna at Florin Rd (Sacramento) 20 years ago, and it still runs.

They gave me a pretty good deal. The discount they offered was 5%+ more than any other dealer was willing to give. I also got $7k more on my trade than another dealership was offering and $4k above KBB.
