hm.. 07 G35 Coupe. Im not sure if I want to downgrade from a bmw to nissan.
but that is a good option, thanks for the suggestion. Now that I tried sedan for the first time(only owned coupes/hatchbacks in the past), I decided to go back and enjoy the nice sporty bodyline of the 2dr. I don't need 4 doors and sacrifice the look. I look forward to changing it this fall, or winter.. I want to start shopping for one and possibly put down a deposit if any new model is due later this year.

Sounds like an E46 M3 with SMG would fit into that price range.

first thing that came to my mind was a G35 coupe. i had one and it was fun as hell to drive. it was just beautiful. the car should be less than 60k so with the rest of the money, you can buy a vortec supercharger to it and put out 400rwhp. if you think it's a downgrade, just get a caymen.

Great suggestions.
SLK 55 AMG - Something I really wanted before E90. Couldn't get it, too expensive(I wanted one during the summer. Hardtop+Summer=premium). maybe now its a chance. 7spd auto sounds like something. E46 M3 - Passed on it and got my E90. If I were to get E46 right now, I rather save up money and get ready for the new M3. M coupe - Wanted it, and wanted REALLY badly, but wouldn't come in SMG. only 6spd manual. I like how some of you mentioned Cayman. This was also something I really wanted until I found out how much premium I had to pay(wanted it when it came out). Maybe I should give it a try again. As for the Boxster, I don't like how people call it a "chick car"(no offense to ladies). The new one is totally sexy and nowhere close to the one before. All this however, it seems like porsches are lacking in power department. Under-rated or not, 270hp for what... 60? 65k?

drive the boxster S and you'll never call it a chick car ever again. (and you'll lose some respect for BMW)
that is a serious car, and the new ones are much tougher looking than the 986 models trust me, power is not "lacking" in the box S, it's a fast car |

I would have, but the great deals on the Z4 when I bought made the Z4 about 20 grand less than the boxster S. the boxster's better, but 20 grand better? yeah maybe...... and there's already a boxster S in the garage, not mine though. I'm going to trade in the Z for a Cayman S when the time comes!! |
