Thought I might share a little project have been working on. I finally got a lift in my garage Check out the link for pics.
I actualy redid the floor a second time and you can see it in the lift parts pics. I painted the sides as well. Enjoy, let me know what you think

That's awesome! Congrats on an excellent setup. This is strange, but I have a friend up here in MA that has a twin to your BMW and has a very similar lift in his garage. He is our chief tech inspector at the autocross events for the Boston Chapter.

Very nice/efficient. I have the same epoxy flooring in my garage. Same color/sprinkles as well. It's holding up well after a year and a half now. Where did you get/order the lift from?

Thanks for the complimants.
Sure I will take pics but i don't think there will be any ever. I did 3 months of research on lifts to find one that is not only safe but has built in safety system too. And was not carzy expensive. I must of hit about 10 diff forums asking curent owners of the lift I have, and not one said they had any problems with it. Just make sure you do your maintenance.

Do they say if the stands have to be bolted to the concrete, or is it stable enough to not have them?

Did you use the optional clear coat on your epoxy floor? I used the same epoxy with the decorative specs, but after two years, it began peeling up where it is driven over. I imagine the clear coat would have sealed it up nicely.

No clear coat but i did do about 2 days worth of prep. Power washed it twice and sanded the concrete. I also used to coats of the epoxy and the first didn't cover very well. I have had it now 3 months no problems so far.

Yeah, I did a lot of prep work as well. I probably should have applied two coats.

Great project!!!

Some questions: What is your garage width? Why you select the 4 post lift insted of the 2 post lift?

Garage width = 125 inches
I chose the 4 post for many reasons but the main 2 reasons are you don't have to bolt it in, its free standing and it’s a storage lift which is my main purpose for the winter months. I did buy jacks so I can lift the car off the ramps to work on wheels and brakes. So it’s a full working lift like a 2 post.
