The black at least hides that bizarre black moustache on the front of the M package.

Wish the 21s would have came with an all season option like the 20s. Now I gotta spend another $1600, but u gotta pay to play.

Looks like an iX from the back and like an XM from the front. Perfect example of an identity crisis.
Putting quad exhausts does not make this car look sporty.
I hope that at least the front seats are more comfortable in this iteration.

I honestly like the G45 X3 M50, But it must be with the 21 inch wheels and Cooled seats and I’m good.

Does anyone know What type of tires does the 21 inch jet black comes with? Are they high-performance tires or just performance tires?? And do the 21 inch jet black wheels increase the mph?

Drove the M50 today as well. Definitely some questionable quality on the interior, especially the door lock/unlock on the front doors. I’ll grab a pic tomorrow.

Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric 6 high performance high rolling resistance summer tires. $455 a piece. The bullshit.

And the fact that it has the same steering wheel as the G8X. Same goes for the ‘25 M240/M340…and these have the same carbon trim and vent layout (as the G8X).

Just more cost cutting by BMW SMH.

Nice but not enough to make me get one. Looking for a slightly used X6MC instead. 617 HP is welcome.

lol. I don’t think I can understand how someone can look at this suv and think it looks good. Especially when compared to the previous generation x3. It looks like a hippo or a buffalo from the front, an angry one at that.

The cost cutting measures by BMW are painfully obvious given the amount of cheap hard plastics inside. I hope the miniscule cost savings were worth it for BMW over the potential customers they are losing. I hope pleasing their shareholders over loyal customers was worth it.

So happy that I got one of the last near fully loaded m40i. I knew what they were going to do X3 after seeing what they did to x5.. I basically got an x5 in X3 size and very happy with almost every single aspect of M40i. (except the silly tire and rim choice, my bad not realizing staggered summer performance tires, placed my order for Pilot 4 A/S for) another bonus of getting m40i is that nobody can say is it new body or old body since there is no m40i anymore and m50 is a gimmick on X3.

This new x3 is nothing like X3 which has always been a mini x5. Now it's something odd. Front, back, inside.. It looks bloated, yet too light in looks. Side profile looks incomplete. Interior feels like a Kia/Hyundai. I hope it drives better than it looks. Is there any possibility it drives better than outgoing m40i with this body shape?

You can give all the credit to Domagoj Ducek for the identity crisis.

That’s his unique characteristic style as a designer, the new 5 is enjoying the identity crisis as the latest step child in school.

He loves to mix vodka with bourbon.

They are phasing him out of BMW but I am not sure about the overall mentality that created the current design language.
