Boost Paddle

Can someone explain what holding the boost paddle actually does? Delay shift points,....

Thanks!

It's not clearly documented, but my understanding is that it basically does all of this:

- Downshifts
- Switches temporarily to Sport mode (or switches individual settings to a sportier setting)
- Engages the mild hybrid engine for a bit extra HP

I think this is correct, at least the first and third bullet, but as it isn't documented it is not clear.

Note for those who aren't broken-in yet it downshifts aggressively so you'll shoot way past the 4k limit.

Now that you have had the car for a bit, what is your opinion of it? What do you like, and what would you like to see improved? How is the interior at night?

I actually haven't driven it that much since it is still warm enough for my M2 on sport tires. (80F this week in Boston in November!)

But the big standout is how incredibly performant it is. I mentioned on another thread that it is more fun than my Audi 2021 S4 I traded in for it. That's pretty crazy from a heavy SUV.

Interior felt fine — minus the door plastic — when I bought it and I still think that. It's really quite nice aside from a few areas.

Visibility is great.
