I have a brand-new 2025 BMW X3 under repair. The body shop informed me that they need to replace the lift gate and rear windshield. After checking with all local dealers across the U.S., they found that no parts are currently in stock for the 2025 model. They mentioned that the required parts need to be ordered from Germany, but they are currently on backorder with no ETA. Would appreciate any insights into how long it typically takes for backordered parts for a new model to become available?
