Purchased not leased a 25 x3 30 and plan to do an early oil change. For $120 its cheap insurance. Thoughts on this and what mileage would be recommended. I'm at 1,600 miles currently. Dealer said they are ok with this and won't reset anything so the yearly still comes up.

Always a good idea to do a post break in oil change in my opinion for a car you plan to keep. I'd do it around 1200 miles.

I'm going to take mine in for the same and also see if I can add a tow hitch.

Thanks, I also curious if anybody knows if there is an oil manufacture outside BMW that makes the new 0w-12 ll-22 oil. I reached out to several- Amsoil, Liquid Moly they have nothing yet that meets BMW'S requirements

Just had first oil change at 1500 miles. $130. Almost 5 months in and no problems to report. Very solid and comfortable car to drive. For what I paid for my 30 its a great buy but for the 6 at 70k it is overpriced. Now if they had a more upscale interior in the m50 along with some standard features that would help go along with the increased performance.
