My X3 is in production now and I've ordered it with the tow package, but I was wondering if anyone has specific recommendations on a trailer brake controller? I must say I'm disappointed that it's included on so many other brands, but BMW doesn't even offer one on the X3. I'm considering a Curt Echo wireless controller to avoid messing with wiring or drilling a hole in the dash. Anyone have good/bad experience with this or any other option?

I bought the Curt wireless brake controller for my last car which was a 2023 Kia Sportage hybrid and it worked great. I got the factory hitch and plan on using it on my 2025 X3 M50 and I’m sure it will work great.
