Cars from the Fast & Furious
Ok, I'm really scared about this new movie coming out, seeing as how I already have seem people attempting to drift and spinning out in the middle of intersections down here.
Anyways, I was reading on Edmunds and I saw this article about the cars in the new movie, and some of them are actually slower than the stock cars, or hardly any faster considering all of the money they put into them-including performance and show. I mean this would make sense if it was a movie about show cars but isn't it about drifting and racing? http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=110205 The lead car, a 1967 Ford Mustang is probably the most decent car and does 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds and the quarter-mile in 13.5 seconds at 109.8 mph. Here are some of the F&F cars compared to stock numbers that the article gave: F&F Nissan 350Z: 0-60: 5.7 1/4: 13.2 Stock: 0-60: 5.9 1/4: 14.6 F&F: Mazda RX-7: 0-60: 6.0 1/4: 14.1 Stock: 0-60: 5.2 1/4: 14.1 F&F Mazda RX-8 0-60: 6.7 1/4: 14.9 Stock: 0-60: 7.0 1/4: 15.4 F&F Mitsubishi Evo IX: 0-60: 6.6 1/4: 14.5 Stock: 0-60: 4.9 1/4: 13.3

well drifting in itself is super fruity
drifting takes something with a definite winner and looser and makes it gay by adding judges like figure skating or gymnastics or even worse rythmic gymnastics. |
