Finally some different, brighter coloring. I really hope it’s one of those “better in person” kind of cars. Something about how it looks in photos is a little weird.

Brighter def looks better imo. Not sure why the color options seems a bit “limited” on launch

I posted a lot of photos yesterday also, including these and Brooklyn Grey. But polarized Grey was my favorite.

That M Performance gear tack-on stuff is Autozone at best, embarrassing in every scenario.

Come on, BMW, do better. The NK shape is clean and Bauhaus. Don't junk it up with the Pep Boys treatment.

That has to be one of the most feminine, lifeless front ends I’ve seen.

Eww.

looks like somebody took an axe and sliced fenders off. And all that cheap glued on black plastic needs to be gone asap. Total craze going on now. Kinda sad who designers are these days

Agree completely. Outside of the wheels, the m perf parts for this are terrible. 😣

Oh well, at least I know I’ll end up saving some money if I end up getting this or the X3M version, as I won’t have the urge to get any of the m perf parts. 🤪

I want to like it. I really do. It just seems to give off a little Kia or Hyundai feel though. The Hyundai Ionic maybe? Or even a 2026 Buick Enclave?

Not sure I would spend a dime for the M package. If I owned one the first thing I would do is take a heat gun to those black side decals. Geez BMW, didn’t you solicit any prior feedback from customer test groups?

Sorry, the M Sport Package Pro makes the car look very cheap. What is BMW thinking? :( Kinda reminds me of the Wacky Races XM model.

I’m not sure these photos and options do much for the cars appeal.

They are Pro pack it’s M-Performances parts dealer add in type bits. Pro adds the darker grill and black valance and M-Seats, icon glow and Matrix LED.

Agree it’s terrible though. How to make the car look poor and remove all efficiency that it was designed with. :mad0259:

When you have listened to what BMW said about car clinics the last years, you would know they totally 'inverse' prospect buyers' feedback.

Based on Adrians' interviews, you could conclude that BMW developped somekind of 'cognitive dissonance' about it: When prospects were happy with what was shown, that proved that they were not innovating enough and they rejected the design. When there was much resent and critique, it proved they had it right and they categorised us as being conservative. It's like this that they were convinced that beever grills where the way to go: most prospects hated it. :confused2

Something is off with my eye for the darkened grill. I feel like the normal one looks much better with more defined outlines.
