allenZJH wroteHere’s what I was told yesterday we’re not even sure when we can order mine in Mississippi and I’ve got the first one on the list which it could be within the next two months and may not receive it until possibly September or OctoberHi, I am just wondering around when is IX3 going to available in the US. My current lease on the IX is going to end in August. I’m not sure if I will get the ix3 in August. If the IX3 is not going to be available, i might just extend my current lease for another 6 months.
allenZJH wroteActually, the information I just told you was from somebody actually out on this forum I get so many emails from my dealer. I thought it was from my dealer. But anyways, they were having some unveiling in April in Vermont or that area and I guess people would expect to receive their vehicles in September or October. So I’m probably looking at October but my lease is not up on my vehicle till 2027 December so I’m in no hurryHi, I am just wondering around when is IX3 going to available in the US. This isn't from corporate, but I was given a timeline by a dealer in the US Northeast a couple weeks ago that they said was what they had been told by corporate shortly before I spoke to them.
They said the configurator, with pricing, will be live in April, in advance of an "unveiling" event in May. Most dealerships will have an iX3 or two on their lots sometime in June for test drives etc, but these will not be vehicles they are permitted to sell. They will start taking orders and deposits in June. US vehicles will go into production in early September, and they expect deliveries to US customers to begin in late September or early October.

Once I paste it into the post it won’t let me post it for some reason it just the buttons like don’t work there a secret to that. This was posted by jimkvt in the “USA Pricing Predictions” thread:

I'm surprised BMW was surprised by the initial demand for the new ix3, so now I assume the delivery schedule will slip and maybe by end of year they'll start arriving in US?
Dr. Dabbles wroteI’ll put it to you this way the cost of an X3 is what 90 something thousand dollars if they’ll give me one for 70,000 it’s on the lot. I’ll go ahead and stay with an ICE.My local dealers are still saying the build option should be available "by summer" and that vehicles should start showing up "by fall". I also don't think they care too much about maybe selling an EV in the future versus offering me an X3 to drive off the lot in today.

TPMSfault wroteI'm happy. My car comes completely without these badges. The US models will have “Xdrive” badge.

JerryTBall wroteProbably not until they have iX3 on the lot for testing. The entire platform seems to be new, so there's not likely going to be anything that behaves similar or has similar equipment from previous generation EVs, and certainly not the ICE platforms. Is there a vehicle that they would probably have on the lot that would be a good test drive to get an idea what this new one is gonna be like even though it would be gas powered. Would it be the X3 with sports seats if I ordered the sports seats or what vehicle would be a good one to get an example how it feels
JerryTBall wroteProbably the X3 and the 5 series, but only for the interior design and feel/look of the interior materials. Other than that, iX3's iDrive system is completely new as well as its platform so I would say the tech and the way it drives has no resemblance to anything on the BMW lot.Just curious guys Cuz like I said last BMW I was in was a 99Z3. JerryTBall wroteI'm not sure if there's anything that would be comparable enough. I think the iX3 will be bigger on the inside than the X3 so even sitting in an X3 may not give you a good idea. As far as powertrain, I wouldn't even entertain any ICE option as a means of comparison. You could try like an iX 45 perhaps, at least it's a BEV but again the NK platform is probably not very apples to apples.Just curious guys Cuz like I said last BMW I was in was a 99Z3. JerryTBall wroteI don't really think you'll glean anything from the vehicles on the lot in that case. If you're bored and have time you can maybe go check them out just because, but I don't think it'll be particularly fruitful until iX3s are available stateside.Problem is my BMW dealer I think the only electric cars they have is a plug-in hybrid

One of my co‑workers just got off the phone with the Regional Product Manager and he was able to give us a little more insight. More to come.
We will see, build your own car in June/July.
The first thing that will come out will be the ordering guides, with a release date, unknown at this time. There is no information on how many units will be produced or what allocations will be given; however, you are first in line, and I have no worry that we will get yours in. As you know, we have already seen a difference between the build sites in other countries. We expect that the American build site to be different.
JerryTBall wroteCan shed some light on this as well, the ordering guide should be out in April/May. It *feels* like it will be April for the guide and June for ordering, but we’ll see. I’m on a waiting list at 3 different local BMW dealerships and will go with whoever can get me one first.Well, I got a little bit of an updated text today from my sales person after speaking with the regional production manager
