Audi RS5 or a Exige. I know, a dichotomy, but I see the goods in both. Ultimately, comes down to commuting needs. If I live close by to work I am getting the Exige.

Hmm...C63, CTS-V. That is in addition to my current car and not a replacement. It would be fun to have a fast 4 door.

if they put a TT V8 in the M3, i'd take that otherwise, no. (im sure it's reserved for the M5)
audi R8 is def. what i want for next car though. im sure there will be more cars in the next couple of years that i'll want to trade with my 335i |

I may venture away from upscale a bit.
The new Hyundai Genesis Coupe was pretty sweet looking at the NA debut at the LA Auto Show in November. Basically a G37 look a like. The 4 banger turbo is supposedly robust enough to hold like 25 psi of boost (as per HYUNDAI). If the car is light enough (I think they are saying 3200 lbs for the 4 banger) and with a chip and some upgrades it might be a very fun and fast car for like $23-24k plus the upgrade costs). But who knows, that may be my "fun" car. If the next M3 is a medium high revving I6 with twin turbos on it and drop 100-150 lbs off the current weight, I'm all over that. Think about a 3.3-3.5 liter I6 that revs to 7500 rpm but has twin turbos on it for the lower end thrust yet high end power. With a power rating of 420-430 hp and 100-150 lbs less weight than the current e92 M3, it would be a screamer that would get 2-3 mpg better gas mileage than the current V8. Sign me up on that one. But that won't happen until 2013 based on BMW's past new car schedules. |
