http://www.berries.com/ They are fucking good, or you can always get like a pair of ear rings at Tiffany's.. They have some right under the $100 mark.

You could always make a scrap book In high school, I bought like those 'will you be my valentine" cards, you know the ones little grade schoolers get and exchange.. Yeah well anyways, I bought a couple of boxes and on the back of each card I wrote a little note. And filled the box with godiva chocolate heart box and other goodies...

Grrrr damn Valentines.

Getting sick of 'holidays' to be honest. Valentines, then Anniversary, then Birthday, then Christmas. Gives me just enough time to save up money for something I want and then BAM time to buy the girl something.

For around $100 and a few hours of your time, how about a digital photo frame, put in some pictures of good memories, and some photoshopped with nice words from you?

I'm thinking about getting a necklace from Tiffany for a few hundreds.

Edit: Oh I'm also making her something.

I agree, Most restaraunts rape you on 2 days: Valentine's day and Mother's day.

Food is mass produced and crappy, Service sucks, and they rush the diners, trying to cycle the tabels as much as possible

OT - I plan to get my wife some nice earings. Sort of cliche, but with Christmas just passing and her birthday coming up in early march, (along with my kids B-days) the household budget takes a bit of a beating in the first quarter of the year.

My Wife and I have a no Valentines day deal. We both know its a commercial scam holiday to get you to spend money.

It may sound cheesy but who needs one day to say I love you, when I can say it every day.

I've been seeing a girl lately but i'm really not into her. Problem is that she is so god damn nice that i can't be mean to her. I am obviously not going to buy her anything and maybe get wasted with my single buddies on v-day instead of hanging out with her. think she'll get it?

Lol, because that wouldn't go under the definition of 'being mean to her'?
