Good find. I don't think any of us were expecting Hyundai to producing anything remotely close to this in the past.

Nice find - thanks!

The V6 in that car is a pressure cast aluminum block with 6 bolt mains and a forged crank. Decent hot rod stuff.

I personally want to see how ''mod friendly" the base 4 cylinder is. You might have EVO/STI like potential in a RWD package. Hot Damn.

Nice site. This car could redefine what people think when they say Hyundai. Good job on their part. If this thing is as performance oriented as they are saying it will have a following.

The V6 will make an extra 50hp with just Intake, Headers, and premium fuel. Its dynoing at 300whp. Around 360hp at the crank!! HOLY HELL.

Just read the official brochure from hyundai, official curb weight:

2.0T 3,294
3.8 v6 3,359

To put in perspective:
G37 3,600ish
EVO X 3,344
mustang gt 3500ish
mazdaspeed 3 3153

From what I've been reading the price is going to be relatively low too. If Hyundai pulls this off it'll be a tuner's dream. Cheap, light, good performance and tuneable.

Who'd thunk that i would want to go from a 335 to a Hyndai, but i do! It seems like it will be fun car that will also win brownie points with the wife for me "sacrificing for the family" and getting a Hyundai.

I'm 100% positive its under 25k for the 2.0Turbo. The V6 should be starting around 25k.

Those are the numbers I've heard too. Can you imagine how hot it'll sell at those numbers even in a recession?
