It's hard for me. It's hard for people to really understand what I mean.

When I joke or am sarcastic, it's not always taken that way.
If I'm trying to be informative and give information in a straitforward manner, I come off as being cold.
When I don't combat a criticism, then I think I'm better than the person.

It's tough getting your point across with only seeing a few letters and maybe the occasional smilie.

I've practically grown up on the internet, since like i don't know...maybe 1998 or something and it's getting old.

In most cases, a smilie can change the tone of a comment made. It does become a bit harder to decipher the intended tone when a smilie isn't present. In any case, my motto is to offend anybody/everybody and care not! Usually it is those who want to be offended who take offense to everything stated. Too many people walk on egg shells.

I met this lovely female through one of the online dating sites. She was great. When I requested that we meet up, I was slightly disappointed to find out that loads of pics she had been sending me was of someone else (who was really hot). Then she pulled the "well, is physical attraction the only thing that matters to you". :mad:
