I have been ordering my son's contacts from Vision Direct for the past year. They had the best prices for his prescription.

I've gotten mine from CLEcontacts.com for years now. I'm sure I did a search like 5 years ago and they had the best price at the time.

yes that is true you need a costco card but imo i think the annual $50 fee is worth it with all the savings you can get from costco. I"m sure you can get it for cheaper online if you buy a years supply but in regards to the cheapest price per box, I think costco is the lowest. The reason why I don't buy a years supply is b/c my contacts will last more than 2 weeks. I can go for over a month using the same pair as long as I clean them and take them off each night. So I usually buy a few boxes from costco and go back if I need more.

I placed order on Vision Direct yesterday for me and my girl (different prescriptions) and they called today saying that the prescription is expired, I think my girl's prescription is expired but mine is still valid, if I give them my prescription are they going to ask for my girls? TIA

All places including 1-800-Contacts do this.

Let's say it lasts 1 year, does it mean that I'll have to go get my eyes checked every year for Vision Direct? |

The prescription is usually one year. So yes you will. I've been having to do it for as long as I can remember with 1800contacts. Since your eyes change, they require you to get a new prescription every year.
