American Muscle Dream Car?
So, ever since I was alittle kid i've been an avid car addict. Down the street in my wonderful neighborhood there was a muscle car with a big f^&king wing. My all time favorite muscle car would have to a 1970 Plymouth Superbird. I plan to own one day. Whats yours?!

My uncle has a 69 SS Camaro and a 70 or 71? Hemi Cuda, Im not a fan of muscle cars but both are fast as fuck and believe it or not he gets more attention with the muscle cars then when he's in his 07 M5

I'm a huge vintage Mustang fan, haivng owned 3 1970 Mustangs (a 302 Sportsroof, a Mach 1 and a BOSS 302). But I love all of them. My first musclecar was a '71 Torino GT 429 back in '81. I've also had a built 6.6 trans Am, a '72 Chevelle with a built 350, and a '66 Chevelle with a built 454. But I think if I were to hva a classic musclecar collection, I'd simply have one of each of the great Trans Am competitors: a '70 BOSS 302, a '69 Camaro Z/28 (with the DZ 302), '70 AAR Cuda, and Javelin

There are quite a few I like. Firstly the Corvette L88. I really just like any of them with a good design back story and top of the line engine option. Never been a big fan of Fords though. I want a 442 the most right now because they aren't several hundred thousand for a #'s matching W30 and I love the looks.

I'm pretty sure the Corvette is a muscle car in the purest sense. Go for the L88 one, it had a warning next to the shifter that basically said "You're gonna die, this thing is way to powerful". They also ridiculously underrated the power and charged too much for it. I think they had to make the engine available to the public for racing homologation, but most thought it was crap and few bought, making the fastest muscle car of its generation also super rare.

^I like every one of them, and not a one worth less than the houses most of us grew up in. That 440 hemi looks sweet, but Yenko was a genius, I wish more dealers today would jump on modifying and CPO style customs. I think I have seen a Ford dealer do it (Galpin maybe?) but it would be sweet if some dealers would go a bit further than just pinstripes, window tint or some horrible dealer badge to differentiate their cars and put an upmarket twist on them. Just look at how much paying the little extra for a Yenko special would have paid off in the late 60s.

Correction.......
Gents,
No such thing as a "charger 440 Hemi Cuda". The car above is a 426 Hemi Cuda. Charger is a different animal altogether....think of the black car chasing Steve McQueen in Bullitt. My list is something like this: 70 LS6 Chevelle 70 GTO Judge RAIV 70 W30 442 65 GTO Tri Power Vert 70 T/A Challenger or AAR Cuda 69 Z28 69 Boss 302 69 Hemi Road Runner 69.5 Six Pack Super Bee 70 Cuda 440 Six Pack 69 Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet As you can see I like Mopars but love all the big block cars equal. All would be four speeds, BTW. Cool thread, glad I saw this.

I would take the M5 any day over either of his muscle cars, they are just not my style, american cars in general are not my style. But everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. If I were to inherit one of the muscle cars it would be for sale if not that day the very next day.
