Odd car to see push started (Lotus Espirt)

It was a Lotus Esprit V8, I don't know if the battery was flat, but it is certainly something I'll probably never see again.

You won't see any car that is fuel injected push started....

If the battery is still has some charge, it will work.

However, if the battery is completely dead, it won't work at all.

Pretty hard to get a battery that dead, even then the alternator gives charge once you start turning the engine. And for FP there is residual as well as the aforementioned.

Maybe he removed the starter to save weight? Like GP Bikes and F1 cars.

I guess it could have been the battery or the starter. If I find out I'll post it in this thread. I think I've seen this car come out before, and it started under its own power, but it could have been another Espirt in the same color.
