What is it about Facebook anyway?. I cant be bothered to create an account and then proceed to fill it with pictures of me high.

It is the ultimate tool for sticking your nose into other people's business and the other way around. Most naively think that their personal information is really restricted to the rules they set in the account... oh dear...

meh. as others have said it's an easy way to keep in touch with people without doing any real work.

No thanks! Why join a new group on Facebook when I can get all the latest news and information under the designated areas of Sponsors Classified and Vendor Comments here on E90Post.com where it should be? Are you going to stop posting here and redirect everyone to Facebook when you have new information to share? Besides, you don't even have a website which is probably where you should shift your focus as a business. Unless you're doing this for "the love of the game" I don't know of anyone making any money on Facebook. All of the true BMW enthusiasts are right here on this forum. One stop shopping for me.

um, market research. tons of companies have fan pages on facebook for the sake of market research which helps them develop products that make them MON-AY.

Don't take it so serious, is just a Facebook page. A lot of people have benefited from direct communication with us, they stay actively updated and the majority of our fans are supporters of our brand. We are not replacing our website with the facebook page, we are going to be releasing our website soon and still continue to use Facebook to generate traffic to our web.

By becoming a Fan is not the same as becoming a Friend. We do NOT have access to your facebook profile, photos, information, etc unless you add us as a friend which we do not accept. You, however, get our company updates directly. It is much like an e-mail newsletter but very interactive. We can use it as a research tool to get direct and isolated customer's feedback on products, fitments, etc.

Thanks for your support Mehale!

Because a regular old web page will not do the same for keeping up with company news if you offer a news link? or RSS or 6000 other ways to get info to people?

Seriously, being on Facebook is not enough to make me buy a product and as far as I know, the web is still open for business outside of facebook.
