'07 BMW 335i --> '09 MB C63 AMG! Pics

Hey guys...loved my '07 335i (especially with PROcede v3, he he ). But as many of you already know, I've "gone to the dark side," buying a new, loaded '09 MB C63 AMG in place of the 335i! This thing (stock) is a complete MONSTER and the sound of the 6.3L v8 + quad AMG exhaust is nothing short of exotic and amazing!!! For now, I'm leaving it stock, but within 6 months or so, I may add the $1,495 Kleemann ECU Flash pushing the stock 451BHP to > 500BHP!!!

Anyway, here are some pics...

Congrats! It looks great. They are trying to trick you with the 6.3 badging BTW, it's actually a 6.2.

Yeah, I know...not sure why they say it's 6.3L...must be like 6.25L so they round up. Either way, it's sounds so incredible and pulls hard! Of course, I now get 18-19mpg on the highway (instead of my 335i getting 25-26mpg hwy), but oh well...life is short.

Well, I guess it's a good thing I get reimbursed well by my company for all the mileage I do for my career then. And, I'll be sure to have fun running 4.1 sec. 0-60mph and the 1/4mi. in ~ 12.4 sec. @ 115mph stock; then, if/when I get the $1,495 Kleemann ecu flash, I'll have even more fun running the 1/4mi. in ~ 11.9 sec. @ 118mph without even breaking a sweat or messing with any piggyback, ecu wires, and laptop software.

btw -- I was (and still am) one of Shiv's biggest supporters of the PROcede v3 (ALL the way back since before his PROcede v1 to when he first came out with the XEDE for the 335i). It's just a car like the MB C63 is an absolute MONSTER right out of the box (since it's really a detuned engine version from the other AMG cars); then, add a simple $1,495 ecu flash and it brings the C63 AMG engine in line with the other AMG engines >500BHP...just amazing! And, don't get me started on the C63 AMG's v8 and quad AMG exhaust sound, he he.

Can you post interior shots?

Inside glove box, nav screen, trunk etc.

Thanks!

Grats!

It isn't RennTech for $1500......frig'n crazy dollars.

I don't know which but the VR530 package for $750 may go well with your choice.

VR530, as the name implies, brings Mercedes Benz 63 models to 530HP/485TQ.

The kit consists of: Underdrive pullies, HiFlow air filters, Phenolic Heat spacers and Intake temperature relocating harness.

Damn, your a lucky man. c63's are sexxxxy. I love the gauges on benz's.

This is alot to ask for but, when you get a chance would you be able to take a pic of the interior at night with the lights on? Thanks

BTW, why not get the evosport stage 1 tune. You get 531 BPH and 483 TQ?

Dash is typical MB. The navi system is better than my '07 BMW navi, and has the integrated Sirius/XM Sat Radio, 6GBB Music Register, iPod (iPod cable in glove box, but doesn't charge it), and Bluetooth. It also comes with aluminum AMG pedals.

One major thing the '09 C63 AMG lacks (which will now be offered in the 2010 C63 and moving forward) is the MB Keyless Go (same as BMW's Comfort Access) with push button Start, so I'm trying to get used to using the keyfob again...oh well.

My color combo is black exterior, black leather interior with black maple wood trim...very sporty and classy, imho. The AMG seats are absolutely amazing...they put the BMW 335i sport seats to shame, imho.

I hope this helps answer your question.

The Kleemann K1 ecu flash is $1,495 and provides similar (~ +50-60BHP) HP/TQ increase as the RENNTEch upgrade 2 ecu flash that goes for $3,495. The RennTech upgrade 1 ecu flash is $2,495 but only offers a modest +25HP. Most ppl on MBWorld.org Forum go with the more cost effective Kleemann ecu flashes/upgrades; e.g. the Kleemann K2 upgrade for ~ $3,000 includes the ecu flash, DPs and intake I believe...provides for a C63 with ~ 530BHP. I would most likely go with the simple $1,495 Kleemann K1 ecu flash (only) to make it a 510BHP C63 AMG!

Thanks for the info on the VR530 package...looks good for only $750, but then you have to add installation costs.

Ding, ding, ding.

Sure the kit is awesome at 750 but install has to be at least 2K. It has been awhile since I did that kind of tear down but it has to be high.

Kleemann is good. Just don't put that HUGE badge on the back.

Nope, not me...not my style. Ha ha...I see yours though. Is that an older E55? Can't tell from just the back.

I was looking at it. He has K2, some nice 3 pc wheels on the E55. 28K miles and will take around 40K for it. Fully loaded...cooled seats, shades etc....

f@^7)ng construction market.

Maybe it will be around for me later. My finger can't get on the trigger now much less pull it!

Enjoy your Brutus.

Wow...that sounds like a good deal on a Kleemann K2 tuned E55 (w/ only 23k mi.) for $40k. That's one thing these AMG's are not known for...resale value. That tuned E55 has got to be one VERY FAST car.

Nice ride. But, say goodbye to your rear tires with that type of power. Better buy stock in your favourite tire company cause your going to inflate their sales with all the unintentional burnouts you're going to do.
