Angry Paid $1.50 for air today!

My other car was running low on tire pressure today. Sunoco charged me 75 cents for 30 seconds or so. It wasn't enough so I had to put in another .75 cents in.

C'mon, .75 cents for 30 seconds of air?

What happened to the good old days of free air and water?!?!?

mini rant over.

Anyone know any chains that still offer free air for future reference?

Many places give you free air if you get gas, need to ask.

In CA , the law requires all gas stations to provide FREE air to the customers who buy gas. When you fill up your car, you can ask for tokens from the cashier.

Hmm i wish i was still living in california. I'm seriously thinking about a compressor cause this is ridiculous. Should you need air in all 4 tires, that could cost like 3 bucks.

I should have tried gotten some gas. I only needed about 2 gallons before a full tank though

I bought a DC compressor for my wife's car at Sears. It was like 13 bucks.

yeah, but the DC compressors take a long time to pump. I only use it for emergency.

I've pissed & moaned about the same thing. All the ones in the northwest say they sell the pumps to some outside companies who set the price. They cant give you air even if you pay for gas. Great way to lose my business honestly, just because you don't want to give me some air for my tires - even if I spend $40 at your store.

Gas up at shell. Hop across the street to Race Trac for free air.

I need those three quarters. Keeping that grimy hose from scratching paint is another thing.
