How can I find out why someone was banned?

I recently purchased a tow hook license plate mount holder from Ceb (http://www.e90post.com/forums/member.php?u=71543)

it got shipped quickly and he responded to my emails and PMs ASAP.

but i went to leave him feedback and then noticed that he was banned.

How can I found out why?

you could ask a mod or admin, i suppose

Often times just checking their last few posts will give you an idea why someone was banned. The exception to this is if they posted something that the mods deem worthy of deleting, e.g. racist remarks.
