BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept unwrapped at Frankfurt Motorshow preview

The BMW Vision EfficientDynamics hybrid sports car concept was unveiled to the public for the first time at a BMW hosted preview event at the Frankfurt IAA. CEO Dr. Norbert Reithofer took part in the uncovering and had some words to say as well:

Quote:

"The car needs to evolve through innovation," said Reithofer . "We are the engine more efficient and make the total of vehicle technology more optimally. In addition, Hybrid is also for us a temporary solution. And especially for large metropolitan areas, a car is needed for electric base. We will continue our research work which hydrogen regard."

Love the break light in the antenna area, many of their concepts have it, a nice small touch, why don't they put on some their production cars?

bmw is becoming softer and softer. im tired of all this money and promos going towards "efficent" cars. yea its nice to have some cars in your line up that save major gas but now with the v10 dying off, im starting to wonder about this companies future. theyre got it right with tt v8 but please just give me one model that has a beefy NA v10 or v12, gets 5 mph and destroys the asphalt. i need a car in the lineup that i can hang my hat on and say yea thats a real bmw.

btw cool looking car but no so much on the wheels
