Temp Plates
Ok heres the deal. Ive got 30 day temp plates, but my the dealer didn't write any expiration date. Does he have to report it that he gave me the plates on a certain date, or there is no way to to tell when the 30 days began since its not on the tag.

Depending on your state, the temp tags have expiration dates marked by the dealer. IF they forgot, it's up to your local DMV to update your registration when your plates come in. I am assuming you want to run the temp to avoid putting on your front, no?
The deal is if an officer were very enterprising and he found you had valid plates issued, you could get a ticket, but it would be very pimpy. |

Yes, I dont want front plates, and Ive heard of people having expired temp plates. But the thing is the date is not written in on the plates, so is there really no expiration or they expire after 30 days whether or not there it is written on them?

Once your real plates hit the DMV computer, they generally cancel the temp plates. Not sure how your state is in efficiency, but here it's pretty quick.
