If I know I will be away for a long while or won't be using it I will turn it off; the rest of the time I leave it on or put it to sleep.

I only have a notebook, but it's never off...unless I'm bringing it with me on a trip. When I've had desktops they were never off. Literally never, unless I had to turn it off then back on. Probably a bad thing, but...I dunno.

On all day, every day. I figure by the time it gives me problems, it'll be obsolete anyway.

It's bad to put it to sleep cuz the memory never fully erases off the ram.

Sleep whenever I'm not there, and reboot it once or twice a month. It's only "off" if I'm away on vacation for a long period of time.
