Sorry i know it's not on the poll but i'd have to say a local here in North Jersey called White Manna's some of the guys here in Jersey maybe familiar with them but i just had a couple of these for lunch and yummy !!!! It's a small hole in the wall that was actually featured in Diner's , Dives and Drives on the Food Channel !
Ohhh since the above isn't in the poll my vote i guess will go to 5 Guys ! |

5 Guys is awesome. That's what I would choose out of the poll. But, there are just so many good burgers in the DC area. Hellsburger, Clydes, McCormicks, Sweetwater, etc, etc.

5 guys and in n out are not comparable. In N out is very good for the price and is more of a direct competitor to places like mcdonalds and burger king. However 5 guys is step above both in price and quality and is more of a direct competitor to places like fatburger and fuddruckers. 5 guys is the best chain burger joint i've ever been to, their fries rock as well

I'm sorry to say, but 5 guys has nothing in In'n'Out. When I went out to DC for business, we had a 5 guys right next to my hotel/company office. I was so excited since I had heard so much about it, but after about $10 for burger, fries, and a drink, was sadly disappointed. No disrespect since it is a good burger, but still doesn't hold a candle to IN'n'Out. Now, when we have people come from DC to our offices here, one trip to In'N'Out and it's like introducing them to the new gospel.

5 Guys for the mainstream stuff.
I prefer local small burger joints instead.
