Well you're going to get a lot of biased answers being that this is a BMW site. I voted for the BMW not so much because I dislike the Volvo, but because it doesn't drive nearly as well (imo), and I can't help but think it's overpriced for what you get.

335, especially if you're getting an auto because the s60R auto tranny is crap. it's actually slower than my tsx was 0-60. there was some girl at my school who tried to race me all the time and i would punch it a little and go right by her. now whenever she sees me she recognizes she has no chance whatsoever.

funny thing is if he made this thread on a volvo site he would probably get that same answer only with bmw and volvo swapped.

In every comparison test I have seen -- and admittedly, there are relatively few reviews of the 60R -- the Volvo 60R finishes a very distant second to the E90 330i. The 335i is even better than the 330i. No question which one to choose here.

Oh I thought you all were talking about the C70 Volvo coupe. I like that better than the 335i coupe. But only the appearance. Engine-wise, BMW $hits on all competition.

i voted for the 335 as its just a better built car. but i love that s60r. i just looked at them a few days ago. but ask yourself this question. whats going to turn more heads, a bimmer or a volvo. i think we all know the answer.

Touche. Of course, I don't think even a die-hard Volvo fan could argue the S60 has a better chassis than the 335.

volvo awd is nothing compared to quattro, I know audi is not in your list but an S4 would be a better choice than the s60r. I would choose the 335, even over the S4. volvo is slower and... its a volvo

I think S60R is the best car in Volvo, but compare with BMW, even 330 can take it anytime. S60R have 300 hp, but it's heavy (they called it safe car) and the handling just like american car, especially the turning ratio. I think volvo is the hardest car to make a "u turn" in my list. But I think the price for S60R is not that bad, navi, leather are standard.
